An overview of menu tools such as Global Configuration, User Manager and the Module Manager are revealed, followed up with “hand on” site activities to put new knowledge to work immediately.

Other topics covered: working with extensions, managing components, the content editor and overall workflow for articles, banner advertising and contacts. Each is explained in detail with practice opportunities to observe these fundamentals in action.

Learners use the template manager to customize site assets from templates to modules; achieving desired results with easy to use tools built into Joomla. Our boot camp ends with a session on keeping a site secure, the backup & restore operations required when things go wrong; plus general security Do’s and Don’ts.
